ratty? that would probably be a 'cookies' issue. it's still working from here, but i'll check a few more browsers and an entirely other computer, just to be nervous about it.

oh, and toxic? i have another skin in the works that will be designed for maximum readability. actually, it's a template from the amazing miz graphics, and it's very cool and very easy to read.

i've noticed that between the two computers running entirely different OSs with different video drivers on different monitors, the colors are *completely* different. it's weird because i *know* that the background is a particular shade of gray, yet, on the linux box it has a distinctly greenish hue.

that always mystifies me, why some people's cookies don't work. have you tightened your security settings on cookies at all, ever?

i mean, they work for me in mozilla, NS7, and konqueror, on LInux. they work on NS4 and IE6 on WinME. and they work in IE6, Opera6, NS4, and NS6 on Win2K.

which is why it mystifies me.

if this keeps up i'm going to have to come over to both of your houses and mess with your computers until (a) i break them, or (b) they work.

It works fine and is plenty legible in IE5.5 on Win95, too, in case you're wondering what us slow-to-change types are seeing. 'Course, I've never seen Zim, so I don't have the same sense of rejoicing others do.

allegedly they have the invader zim font here somewhere. i got weird message board overload and had to give up.

if anyone's good at finding things on message boards full of insane people, well, the font would be there.
