to anyone wishing to live this blogcon thing vicariously, some facts about vegas:

1. it's a dry heat. why they say that like it's a good thing is beyond me.
2. if you have to ask, you can't afford it. i'm referring to bottled water.
3. i saw people smoking indoors. and drinking outdoors. i want to do this myself but it feels so ... wrong.
4. i think i'm allergic to whatever they put in the air to keep you from sleeping. oxygen? no, must be something more sinister. but all i've been able to do so far is lay down and kinda forget where i am, no actual sleeping involved. what's up with that?
5. sleep is highly overrated
6. i'm having a great time.
7. i'm going to hate myself come monday.

CC's late. I'm with chicken little in 2407. Call us!!!

Monday is a long way off! ;)

LOL! kd, if you'd ever spent any length of time in South Carolina, you'd know... DRY heat is gooder! ;-)

And NOBODY is in 2407. :-P I've tried calling three times.
Assmonkeys. ;-)

Just think, honey: if you had mayonnaise with you in that dry heat, you could let it spoil and sell cheap botox to the tourists for a little extra seed.

dammit jhames! you are trying to ruin my mayonnaise fetish...

i don't know whether to barf ... or inject ...

Ok, when you have 'dry heat' the temperature that you can easily tolerate is much higher than when it's not 'dry heat'. Therefore it is a very, very good thing.

People smoking indoors is just one of the signs that here in the Great State of Nevada we still enjoy something called "FREEDOM"! I believe that has been lost in most other states. Especially in Kalifornia. And we don't like people who move here to Kalifornicate our state.

well, dry heat may be more tolerable, but i'm horribly chapped and sniffly about the climate change. (the dry heat would be a lot more tolerable if bottled water wasn't like five bucks a bottle around here :)
