It's telling me (Mozilla in linux) that the mime type is x-director. I actually have flash functioning but I'm not sure what the hell the bunny thing is. I had no idea that "director" was an actual filetype.

yes, well, it's a ... i have mozilla on linux too, and i can't run it either. it wants me to downlod the plugin, and i would, only it confuses me what to do with it then.

however the link (sadly enough) plays fine in with standard flash plugins, on you know, microsoft boxes.

i love poking the penguin! oh man! that's more fun than bunny-poking any day.

stacey, i use Opera at work and have no problems. however i am sure i downloaded a full version with all the goodies. my own site is always fine in that version.

however if you're talking about the poke the bunny site, well, i can't see that in netscape on linux without downloading something and figuring out where to put it. which i haven't managed yet. but i know it's there! would that i had the linux huevos to handle shockwave plugins.

someday. meantime i'm fine with no microsoft at all. it's been a week without even a backup windows box.

it's doable. fuck microsoft. and not in a good way.

Whew. I'm exhausted. Such a lot of poking, oy!! I know it's cheating, but I'm going to count the rabbit and penguin pokes as my exercise for the day. thanks kd and zuchris. (Apropos of nothing, I noticed my bunny poke came on courtesy of Shockwave, gosh, I haven't been to Shockwave for ages.) I think I spent mindless hours there before I had my webpage and blog. Now I spend mindless hours on more important things. Sure I do.

ya just gotta keep pokin' him. for a long time i didn't know what happened, i would just poke him for fun, and wander off, till one time i let my son play with him -- so my hint would be to let a 4-5 year old child play with the mouse button, they're faster and have more energy than we do.

Heh - that brings the funny. :) You're right, poking faster works better - the poking has to be truly annoying, just like in real life.

i wonder if there is an algorithm that measures the poking for number *and* frequency of pokes, so it works out that way that you do have to annoy the bunny.

and Lorraine, believe it or not i've tried counting pokes and never come up with the same number. so it's based on something beyond number, like Donna said, it has to be annoying.

there are two other fun things on that site, Kitka is fairly cool, but God Saves The Titanic is ... well, it has a long load time, but it's ... ok, the bunny is best.
