the menagerie atop the monitor continues to grow. yes, at random times during the day, i do take some time out to play with my toys. i adore them all. sometimes the elephant wraps his trunk around the giraffe's neck and does unspeakable things to him, but today was a better day than that.
today, the official company baby did his first major crawling. one two. quite the moment.
a combination of a hurricane off the coast of baja and wildfires in the saugus area, gave us quite a marvelous sky, and a rainbow: one two

Of course, all were good, but as usual the baby stole the show. ;)
you know, i don't often take the time to be grateful for my work. it's a small, family-like atmosphere which has all the potential annoyances of family, however, having an official company baby who comes to work with his mommy 4 days a week, is a blessing indeed. there are often kids running around there, when i lack daycare i bring my kid in, lots of kids is a good thing in a workplace.
How precious your little sweetie is crawling around. I enjoyed looking at them. More, more!!
we have a store baby...and he is a crack-up! at first i was kind of irritated because it shook up my routine (and god knows, it's all about me!), and i think because i was a little bit jealous because i will probably never have any of my own. now i feel lucky that i get to share these cool moments of crawling and walking and talking. thanks for posting these pics!
My intel guy is totally jealous that yours has a nice seat. Mine perches haphazardly on the edge of my monitor. From time to time he will dive bomb me just to remind me how difficult it is to maintain balance while living on the edge.
Awwwww, that baby is just sooooo cute, and he/she's enjoying their first crawl I see :-)
there should be more workplace babies. when you're having a bad day, you can always go goochie-goo the baby and cheer yourself up.
he's a really good baby, too.
I always enjoy your pictures, kd. And...I for some reason felt the need to let you know that, I guess.
I love picture day! Thanks for sharing. :o)
