ok. this new MT is just brimming with pingy goodness. first of all, it pings blo.gs, automatically, just check a box. and, if you do wander-lust on your site, you can use the handy new ping-other-sites box to ping wander-lust's pinger!

http://wander-lust.com/pinger.cgi?you@yourdomain.com (where the you @ yourdomain is the email addy you used to sign up with wanderlust).
so now i'm pinging four places with every entry (that would be, MT recently updated, blo.gs, weblogs.com, and wander-lust!). (also, this is kind of a test of the wander-lust thingy.) and on days like today, the mere thought of my little blog communing with the weblog community at large via something as simple as several pings, is something that makes me, if not happy, then at least ... less whiny. by quite a lot, actually. ping, ping, ping, ping.

it might be brimming with pingy goodness, but it's also a wee bit buggy. i'm running into some weirdness as i go through and mess with things.
i'll keep you all posted. the pinging is wonderful. other errors, however, are cropping up here and there, which is stressing me out some.
I haven't even tried my pinging capabilities yet. What's wrong with me?!?!

Well, bullfeathers. I have ticked the little box to ping weblogs, and when I posted a new entry, it gave me the screen saying it was pinging the site, but 15 minutes later it still hadn't shown up there, even though weblogs had updated its list multiple times. So I manually pinged, and it told me the blog had changed, although if it had taken the first time 15 minutes earlier it should have told me otherwise, since I hadn't posted since.
This was happening before the upgrade to 2.5, too. I'm feeling annoyed. Got any ideas?
