plans change

ok. so it turns out that the 15000 minute plan does not have wireless internet, and cannot have it added. i thought i'd added it, but they called me to say it could not be done. (phones without internet? uh, no.) i called them this morning and we worked together on finding me a plan. the customer service guy asked how i use the phone, i explained the daytime daughter, the nighttime me, and the general fact we use the hell out of our little phones.

and he came up with this: a 2000 anytime PCS vision account, which allows two phones, so only phone #3 is an extra charge. no extra charge for wireless internet, $10 more for 2000 night minutes. total 4000 minutes at substantially LESS than i was paying before. instead of increasing $55 a month, my bill went DOWN.

but no phone-a-thon, none of that pressure to use 212 hours because i have them. as if that was pressure. or i needed therapy. you know.

anyway, it's late night phonecall business as usual, and savings! i adore sprint, and their plans, and their customer service reps who listen to me talk about how my family uses the hell out of their phones, put me on hold to really research stuff and come back with the perfect plan, and are fully cool about it the whole way. and ... technically, this is PCS vision! so when i get a wild hair and want o'them full color fancy ass next generation toys phones i really need, well, there it is.
