... give him a gameboy advance, that he has been wanting for a long time, and a game he has been admiring amongst his peers. expect that he might not exactly spend time with his other presents, no matter how many or how cool. just put batteries in the game, show him the 'on' button, and *yawn* go back to bed.

heh... i can so relate except mine goes like this... give them 6 packs of yu gee oh cards and lay back down on the sofa while they check out all the cards they got. meanwhile, game boy advances, gi joes, walkmans and cd's sit there... sigh... merry christmas, from me and my boobies family.

I got lucky, all four of mine turned out to be low maintenance this year. Our real cause to celebrate this holiday season is that, for once, they were all happy with their gifts.
We got it right, yippee!
That going back to bed stuff, though ... I tried that, laid in bed for an hour listening to number one daughter screaming at the computer screen (although I'm sure she'd describe it as laughing) before I gave up and came back downstairs ...
