No. Nonononono. :P I am never happier than when the weather is 90 degrees and above. Where I live (Joisey,) it gets down to single digits in the winter, and gets month-long heat waves of 100 degree weather in the summer. I LOOOOVE the heat waves. The snow makes me cry. :(

Hey! Bravo for including us fat types! Now I just have to literally put my money where my mouth is and come up with the green to buy one :)

you, kd, are the voice of reason. this weather sucks and it's making me hate everything around me....cept my cuties, of course!

things are supposed to start cooling tomorrow. i'm not sure i can take another day/night of this crap.

ok- will stop using your space to bitch and moan and all the other things i'm doing here! try to have a nice day.

i hate to whine about the weather so much but the weather itself causes me to be slightly out of my mind so that i can't help but whine, it's a vicious cycle.

there was a whole new noise last night. i mean it musta been gusting ninety miles an hour, and the weather stripping around my front door would start vibrating -- this medium pitched vibrating hum so loud there was no way to sleep through it. it rattled the teeth. i've never been in wind hard enough to make my front door make that sound. it was friggin' horrible.

i have had no sleep.

no, i love the snow- really. it makes everything all shiny, and how else do you know it is time for christmas?
but i'm sorry about your lips and such. i'll be in LA next month, so i'll suffer with you!

Our weather is strange here also. Today it will reach 50 degrees, and there is not a trace of snow on the ground. Usually we are below zero, and are buried under feet of snow. I can really get used to this.

I would like the weather to be somewhere in the middle, The snow is wonderful I would admit, but the cold just cuts through you. Couldn't we have a mixture warm weather with snow, so that the wind that floats off it would cool you down?

KD, i'd send you some snow, all I need is a place to send it to. Would a cooler full of the stuff do? :)

Hey are the Surreally shirts ever gonna be available in black?

i think that would be a nice compromise -- warm sunshine, cool snow. there are parts of california that get a lot of that sort of weather, but i'm stuck here at the beach. sigh.

Yeah, snow is wonderful and all, but it really loses its charm once you're older than five and have to drive in it/shovel it. Here it's not all that cold for January (34 degrees), but we are dealing with close to 40 inches of snow from 2 different storms that hit about a week apart - it's supposed to snow every day this week on top of that. What really sucks is that because it's relatively warm durning the day, everything melts, then freezes again after nightfall, so we get to deal with the black ice and ice dams and all that wonderful stuff, not to mention icicles of mammoth proportions. I always thought icicles were pretty, but yesterday one of the 3 foot long icicles hanging from the roof overhang here at work crashed to the ground outside our bay window where 2 customers were checking out properties on the board, missing them by inches. People are here shoveling off the roofs to try to prevent "ice dams" which I found out today is a result of snow melting then refreezing then doing all sorts of nasty things to the structure of your house. Add to that the cracked, chapped lips, and hands that get so dry that they split open and bleed when you make a fist to clutch the snowbrush/ice scraper, and stand in horrifying winds like an idiot while you heat up your key with a lighter because your car door locks are frozen and the lock de-icer just isn't working just doesn't make me look forward to the morning commute. I would much rather be hiding with the air conditioning or playing in the ocean or swimming pool. Thanks for letting me rant!
