life

sometimes the world is small & a perfect photograph meaningless & pure. sometimes the world tries to kill you eyes first & you know you know you can never translate the image this is not technology this is not science this is art & perspective tells you things it tells no one else, this is your secret yours & yours alone alone all

all by your own self.

& you take the picture(s) anyway & know meaninglessness yes & also you know some other things, things you will never convey ever to any one else mostly because they are also meaningless.

& it doesn't make any difference.

so you have taken these things, these pictures, this life. you have taken this life & you have run it through photoshop seven enhanced contrast saturation sharpness because life is best lived contrasted saturated sharpened. you upload the bloody things knowing it makes no difference & yet life changes in spite of this, it is an improvement small & a perfect photograph.

you wish they were better pictures because you like this text you've prepared for them. isn't the frame part of the art? doesn't matter, this isn't. it's just life.

i stood out on the balcony having been to the bathroom where there was this lotion. i smell like candygrape & i glitter. life.

these images were processed & optimized on an oldass laptop with a decent processor & not enough memory & whatever resolution it's the best i can do <-- this is my life.

life.

i love you.

the frame does enhance things. it allows for a sort of introduction. 'hi. i am here. the border that drew me to you is black it is true. somber, brooding and on most days perhaps uninviting. but look beyond what you perceive as what is me. look beyond the pigeonhole that encapsulates me. see i glitter. i move. i am shiny. and bright. look i am life in a nutshell. a stolen moment in time.' the question then arises. does life really need to be tacked down. framed and enclosed so that we may better hold it in our grasp. i seem to be rambling again. but such is life a long rambling mass, sometimes broken, yet joined.

*hugs*

I read of a ladywho changed her name and became a reptile, changed here persona to become something else to escape a situation she was in. Finally when the situation changed she comes out of her shell and makes poetry, art and song.

this lady is cute and funny and nice in a bad sort of way, and it is good to see that the sun shines still but she also views it in another way.

blessed be my dear liz, take heart for all this is only the start of a wonderfull life anew.

BFG

Just another junkie on a scoring run
Just another victim of the things he has done

Just another day - in the path of a speeding train

i dig the composition of the shopping cart pic. that's very MOMA [or, nowadays, that would be PS1 in Queens, go if you can]. the parking lot was very resonant for me, it stirred some visual memories. the multiple-shadowed feet picture is extraordinary, just one of those moments you could never plan. nice shot. keep shooting.

I wish I could run life through photo shop.

Or no - AutoCAD
