ahh, Lorraine-mom, thanks so much. i’m just having such a monday. and it will get better, i know.

and at least i can outright bitch right at him. i mean, scathing tone of voice, strong language, the works. i don’t have to walk on eggshells, in fact, it’s best i don’t do that at all. subtlety is lost on him.

i’m glad i’m employed. i’m glad i’m employed. i need to say that a few more times, because i really am. it’s just — i really could do without someone making lameass jokes about something that hurts.

he just has a really defective sense of humor. i don’t think he can help it. usually i don’t get so pissed, but in this case i was oversensitized by the insensitivity of dr. quack on friday, and then lulled into a false sense of sensitivity by all my friends on the ‘net, who were so nice.

and it was monday. so i blew a gasket.

Could I drop by and jokingly hit him on the head with a hammer?
Would he notice if you randomly touched his hand? Every 2-3 hours? After putting your hand on your back/the shingles area first? That would be a good joke too.

i did tell him that right off. he looked that up too and informed me i was probably only contagious last week. i was kind of hoping to get sent home to work, but people are pretty casual about something like this, they can’t see.

so if anybody gets this is definitely on them. i tried to tell ‘em.
