… and you thought i’d be able to sleep with this newness on my puter? *snort* no.

how many times this evening has the wonderfulness of the new OS got me all misty? many. it’s got its limitations, or more accurately i have mine, but all in all it’s more than i can even imagine, all this free. all. this.

free. every bit of it. not taking wild liberties with licensing anymore. not a thing here doesn’t belong. it’s mine, and anyone else who wants it, it’s theirs. whyinfuck does m$ still have this hold on the world?

‘scuse me i’ve had some beers and i’ll be playing playstation with my son in the morning**, it’s all set up, life is really, really freakin’ good and i’m a bit … overwhelmed.

happy. weird.

**he turns five at precisely 8:25, which means i wasn’t even in labor yet five years ago right now, in fact it’s still three hours from the time i suspected i might be and walked to the hospital. (memories)

oh! Krix, that is the coolest thing ever! he was very excited to see his name next to Sonic the hedgehog — and i’m going to print that out from work Monday, so he can save it.
