Kelly has the address of the DA in Clay County, MO, and a great suggested letter to send, re: the kitten-burner, Charles Benoit. there should be a great outcry from the public, asking that this crime be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and that the investigation should be extended to find the individuals who stood and cheered him on.

let’s let the DA know that the whole country, the whole world in fact, is outraged and demands that this monster and his accomplices be brought to justice.

Yeah, one of the first crimes a sociopath commits before he/she starts climbing the ladder to serial murders and stuff is the torturing/killing of animals. I have no sympathy at all for the people that did this, and would hope they don’t get off lightly.

And if I ever caught anyone doing that to one of my cats it would be all I could do not to just go crazy on them, and then I’d end up in jail.

oh, i know that feeling. heck, it wouldn’t have to be my cat. just the sight of someone doing such a thing to a helpless kitten would about send me around the bend.

especially if there were people standing around laughing and saying ‘meow’. oh. that would make me insane.

Thanks for the link on this kd. I did not think that adults would do something like this. I agree that they should be punished heavily (not the death penalty mark you :-) ) but the powers that be should consider it a serious crime. One never knows, the next time they may just decide to ‘barbecue’ a human being for ‘fun’?!

Yeah. I think they are sick! They deserve a stiff punishment, something that’ll make sure they never do this again. As I believe Sekimori said recently (or something to this effect, anyway) they deserve some Muslim punishment, rather than Western punishments, for this action.

mmm-hmm. any crime involving torture, needs some creative punishment. unfortunately, it’s against the law to be cruel and unusual, which is very civilized of us, but these types of incidents bring out very uncivilized feelings in me.

between this guy and Samantha’s killer, i can think of some real creative stuff to do to them.

Yep… I sent my letter already. I send lots of letters like this to DA’s all over the country. It’s the only way they’re going to know that we, as citizens, are outraged by this kind of behavior and expect prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. Thanks for doing your part to raise awareness, kd…

Dr. D — exactly. people who will do this to an animal, are a danger to society, because they have no reverence for life at all.
