cue sound of crickets chirping

eh. you post something that has you all frothing at the mouth, and nobody froths back. oh well, i guess i have deeper verisign issues than most…

in any case, according to this quiz, my blog is blossom. which is probably perfect, from the description. [via Jessica] yes, i say probably perfect, because, well, i don’t really know anything about the ppg.

you see, i *cough* don’t get cartoon network. hearing about them on the net, is all i know of ‘em. i’ve never had the opportunity to watch them. i feel so deprived.

also i have never seen an episode of buffy. although i did see the movie. i think. unless i saw the karate kid movie with the chick, and got them mixed up. but i’m pretty sure i saw buffy the movie.

I don’t have cartoon network, either…but I made the mistake of trying to surreptitiously watch ppg when I was at my mom’s house one time, and Monk saw the show and he is a fanatic! I won’t buy or rent the videos, but when we went on our road trip last year we ONLY stayed in hotels that had cartoon network. We actually scored one night and caught a THREE HOUR PPG marathon.

I swear it’s one of monk’s highlights of the trip! hahahahaha.

    Oh my.

That’s actually a criterion I apply to areas I consider moving to: does it get the Cartoon Network? When I moved back to S.F. from Berkeley, I had to get DISH to support my habit as the cable system was wanting in this regard. Of course that just led to my eventual Tivolization, such that I now watch much less t.v. than I ever have BUT never miss an episode of Sea Lab 2021. So, so bad it’s good.

And anyway, Buffy’s on dvd now, so lucky you, some winter you can cocoon yourself in BTVS goodness! All great tv is best ignored for a few years so you can play catch up when it’s in daily reruns, such a better rush than stringing yourself along week after week.

    I can quit anytime I want! ;)

see, i watch my nicktoons. and i love my spongebob and my zim, and well, aside from that the TV guide lives in the other room where the constant TV junkie watches constant TV. and i still can’t get the damn computer to play DVDs. something about open source and copy protection and stuff.

i know it sounds weird to say, i should watch more tv. but i probably should.

The PPG quiz was made for the BlogWhore game, along with severaql others that were very good as well. It makes me laugh that it’s actually making the rounds.

whenever I come for that iced coffee, kd, we can discuss ppg and buffy. I have like books and charts and stuff…and cool PPG inkstamps. You’d dig mojo jojo…he’s the best villian ever.

They did an homage to the beatles…come on, PPG just rules the planet.

books and charts? cool. hey, did you know there’s a whole full-on academic conference on buffy? i’ll have to dig up that link.

i am truly remiss in my pop culture consumption.

Buffy is actually a pretty cerebral show. I think it gets dismissed sometimes because of the genre, but if you’re willing to give it a chance–you’ll be very pleasantly surprised. :D

    Oh, and PPG’s RULE!!! hee.
