hee. I’m a pink Doc Marten. For the record, though, at this very moment, I’m actually wearing brown Doc Martens.
Ooooooh, pretty purple!!!!!
I like that better than the pink one, which is what the quiz results gave me.
i’m very much digging that shiny purple shoe myself. all i have is old beat up black doc’s, so it’s about time i expanded my doc wardrobe.
i love doc martens soooo much.
I miss my docs!!!
Back when Aaron and I wore the same shoe size (he’s since left my tiny feet in the dust), I bought him a pair of Docs in anticipation of the fact that he would outgrow them (they never wear out–I’ve had the ones I’m wearing right now for almost 6 years and they’re going strong) and I could have them when he did. Was that wrong?
wrong? no. incredibly practical? yes.
i got mine at the thrift store. they were $4.98. i was all, score!. that was thrilling. one of those moments you treasure and savor, you know?
Wendy IS very practical.
But Aaron hated waiting to outgrow those pumps and heels.
Those boots are beautiful! I am not a doc martens type of girl, but if they come in shimmer purple, I might just re-think the whole thing!
Yuck, I got blue snake docs! I so would not wear those!
I used to have pair of black doc boots. Wore ‘em with short plaid skirts and black sweaters. Catholic school girl gone bad vibe. Hee.
Um, Jen, is that you? *raises eyebrows in disbelief*
Yeeees, it’s me. I suppose I should just come out and say I also had a hangover once, when I was 27, and I’ve smoked about 15 cigarettes thus far. Shocked??
Hee.
goes to show you just never can tell
and i would be interested to know what sort of answers resulted in blue snake doc martens.
Those are really cool. You should treat yourself to a nice shimmery purple pair.
i totally shouldn’t have put that picture up there. more and more, i’m thinking, car payment, shmar shmayment, momma needs a new pair of shoes!
and shimmery purple is a neutral. it goes with everything. practical!
I totally want a pair of bright red Docs, but I already own 3 pair and I somehow don’t think my husband would understand the need for ONE MORE PAIR. hee. I’ve got to think of a way to convince him they’re necessary.
hmm. well it’s going to be winter, and sometimes gets as cold as say, fifty degrees. sometimes even forty something (although at that point they send news reporters out to do ‘it’s cold, isn’t it’ interviews with people on the street).
extra boots. we should all stock up. living in southern california is tough, i tell ya.
… on second thought, that may not work. oh, why is it that it’s so hard to understand the need for multicolored doc martens?
does anybody know about UK sizing?
“I’m the plain classic brown Doc Marten… I’m mellow, down to earth, and a little on the conservative side.” – looks like i’m a little too boring for this crowd!
I took that last night and mine were just like yours but burgundy. I was a very happy girl. And now, of course, I want them…
I’m a brown Conservative Doc Marten Shoe…
I don’t drink, or take drugs which slanted the score.
I’m really not conservative. Really. I’m not.
I’m the badass burgundy patent Doc Marten… I’m cool as hell, I’m deep, and maybe a little dark
Whoohoo! I love Docs, they’re one of the very few brands of cool shoes that come in size 3-1/2!
Jen, I think we had the same wardrobe. I did the docs and plaid skirts, but I did the pigtail thing as well.
W-w-wait. Plaid skirts and docs?
Mommy. Mommy? Mommy, I’ve been really, really bad, mommy.
