I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

“A computer terminal is not some clunky old television with a typewriter in front of it. It is an interface where the mind and body can connect with the universe and move bits of it about.”
~~ Douglas Adams

yes, i’m on quite the Adams kick right now. in any case, work interfering with blogging here, but i did make a little time to go read my old homestead, surreally dot com, and am feeling quite warm and fuzzy towards the whole group over there. wonderful reading.

Personally, I’m not too fond of that sound anymore. Starting to sound like a 747 swooshing by my ear, about every 10 seconds at that. I’m behind on everything!!! Good thing my boss is me. ;-)

Oh is that what those whooshing sounds are that I’m always hearing? Damn…
Is the week over yet? Hmm? Isn’t it about time for another Friday?
*ducks as more deadlines go wooshing by*

I, for one, do not relish the day I must return to work (though the money part of it is necessary). How dare someone take away my computer time!
