    I got lambasted elsewhere for admitting that the biggest effect 9/11 had on me was the dirt-cheap airfares. Now I can get called names here I suppose.

    well, (a) you weren’t alone with the strange thoughts, the article had far worse, and (b) you coulda done it anonymously here. for the first and only time ever i’m encouraging people to vent in anonymity — ’cause we all have “inappropriate” thoughts.

    except me. i thought only the most appropriate things :)
