cats

so last night Dan emails me to ask me my kitty’s name, ’cause he’s posting about his neighborhood cat that reminds him so much of mine. i mail back this: well, his name was Prince, which happened after my MIL, who was calling him Princess, found out from the vet that that she was a he. anyway, since my MIL did not name the kitty Prince in any cool way, i found myself not wanting to call kitty that, so he’s the Kitty formerly known as Prince, or the Kitty for short. sigh. i know. that’s so last century. i’m old. anyway.

go read Dan’s post about the neighborhood cat. and this kitty started out as a Princess too, till someone noticed … er, you know. trippy, yes?

my parent’s used to be visited by a kitty that we just called ‘friendly’….she was so sweet!

My sister’s cat, Mr. B started off as Mrs. B. Undescended testicles made identification a little difficult. Even the vet was confused at first

i believe kitty was a shelter kitty, and was fixed, and i guess the MIL was hoping for a girl?

At least our Price has only been fixed once! Snowball, one of the other neighbor hood cats, had three sets of shots and was in for her second fixing when that vet noticed the scar from the first time.

The neighborhood ladies have since started coordinating events…

If you’ve seen pictures of kd’s kitty, you may agree with me about Prince:
