So was it like is was for me here in Georgia? Some big burly guy was found putting HUGE icecubes into some kind of ice mulcher that spitted out snow through a tube aiming for the ground…or the crowd…as he saw fit? I like snow. Wasn’t enough to make a snowman…or snow ducky. My son rolled in it. Wallowed in it. He misses snow. So do I.

the shoes are virtually indestructible & still look brand new. i’m not sure how the snow got there, probably they did that in the morning, it was pretty much ice at four-ish in the afternoon when we got there. i don’t know how people who live where it snows do it. i’d be dead of my injuries in a week. do y’all wear like, cleats or somesuch? how the hell do you walk on that stuff without falling on your ass every three steps?

You know, the author and performer of that song sold me my first banjo 35 years ago. Long before he wrote the tune, and when he was a practicing veterinarian in San Francisco. He was and still is one of the coolest people I know!
